As brother and sister James and Hannah make a formidable team. With over 35 years’ experience between them, they’ve finally come together to set up their own business creating beautiful clothing ranges, not only making you feel special but also creating something that you can’t buy elsewhere!
With his obsession for perfection, James is at the forefront of not only designing but also personally hand-making many of the collections. James Steward is proud that all of the components and materials are sourced and manufactured in the UK, with all designs created in-house by James and Hannah.
Passionate about the process and craft, James Steward makes clothes that celebrate the body. As James says It’s a fluid progression with no set beginning, middle or end, allowing for spontaneity that leads to innovation and evolution of our clothing designs.
Influenced heavily by fashion history and creative pattern cutting James Steward designs are both timeless and unique. Each individual piece is born from a long research process, with the aim for the wearer to fully appreciate what they have and to feel both comfortable and attractive.
Whilst James Steward is predominately aimed at ladies wear (ready-to-wear and couture), we do from time to time provide small ranges for men and children, as well as offering a full bridal bespoke service for brides, bridesmaids and mother of the bride.
